INTERVIEW WITH SUPERVISOR MONIKA

How long have you been working as a Supervisor at the Hochfirst Kids Club?

I’ve been a supervisor at the Hochfirst Kids’ Club since 1993. Our guests appreciate my many years of experience caring for our littlest Hochfirst guests. I think it's really nice when adult regulars, whom I looked after as children many years ago, visit me at the Kids' Club. These are wonderful memories. Sometimes these guests even entrust me with the care of their children at the Kids' Club as well!

Kids' Club Supervisor Monika

I really enjoy working with children. For them, every day is different. I really appreciate the variety.

What does a Day at the Kids' Club look like?

We do a lot of handicrafts. For example, the children make little presents for their parents. These are great memories for home. Best of all, the kids stay busy all day long. Role playing in the shop and kitchen, enjoying the Playmobil train, Play-Doh clay games, playing memory and so on. I also like to read the children stories. When the weather is nice, we also spend a lot of time at the outdoor playground, playing at the igloo or having small competitions like “Who can build the most beautiful snow castle?" or "Who can make the most beautiful snow angel? On some days, we also go tobogganing or visit the Haflinger horses in the village centre.
