Top Mountain Star

 

Visiting the Top Mountain Star is an absolute highlight at the Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ski resort. There is a panorama bar on a narrow ridge at the top of the more than 3,000-metre Wurmkogl mountain. From here, you can enjoy a virtually limitless view from the Ötztal Alps to the famous Dolomites. Don’t miss out on the unique atmosphere at the Top Mountain Star!

Hohe Mut panoramic mountain

 

The top of the Hohe Mut is doubtless one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Tirol. From the ridgeline, savour the magnificent view of 21 three-thousand-metre peaks and the glacier - including the "Hochfirst" mountain at 3,403 metres. The nostalgic chairlift was replaced in 2007 by a state-of-the-art 8-seater cable car. Today, the mountain station at 2,670 meters altitude is accessible in just 9 minutes from the centre of Obergurgl.

Night skiing takes place 1x per week from 6:30 pm. Don’t miss out on this spectacular event! The 8-kilometre slope is brightly lit with floodlights and leads directly to the Hochfirst.

"Top Express" connecting cable car

 

The 8-seater "Top Express” cable car provides a direct connection between the Obergurgl and Hochgurgl ski resorts. The cable car climbs over the Königs and Verwall valleys in just 9 minutes. Along the way, skiers can enjoy incomparable views of the surrounding peaks. Worth noting: With a total of 50 8-seater gondolas, the cable car is capable of transporting 1,200 passengers per hour.

First Line

The ski resort is all yours - at least for a short while. The dream of all skiers: First Line allows you to enjoy the pristine slopes before anyone else. But that’s not all: Round off your dream morning in style with a pampering breakfast de luxe at the sunny Hohe Mut Alm.
